By flight

You can fly to Glasgow or Edinburgh airport, both of which are 45-50 minutes from the house. From there we recommend taking a taxi which can be pre-booked from a local service.

By train

There are direct trains from London to Glasgow Central or to Motherwell which is closer to the house.

Taxis

Uber is available from the airports but due to the rural location, there is no Uber service or similar locally. We recommend booking taxis in advance from either of the following companies. Taxis are not always available on demand.

The nearest town to the venue, Strathaven, is around 3 miles away. There are a variety of accommodation options in the town and the surrounding area including hotels and rentals on Airbnb and Vrbo.

For guests choosing to stay in the town itself, we encourage you to book early as the wedding falls on the same weekend as Strathaven Balloon Festival’s 25th anniversary and the town will be busy.
